I find myself humming or singing parts of a song that are stuck in my head often. I read that the reason why a certain song is stuck in your head is because you only know certain parts/words to a song so you keep repeating the same verse or same few words and your brain is trying to finish a thought but can't think of what comes next or after. Usually when I have a song stuck in my head I just have to re-listen to the song and sing along, reading all of the words and once I'm done the song, the song is no longer stuck in my head.
Currently I have the song, APT by Rosé & Bruno Mars in my head because it's a Korean song with English in it. The girls I babysit showed me a video and it had that song in it and now I can't get it out of my head. On a side note the words are "apatatit apatatit" over and over again but all I can hear is "I popped out a tit" and I can't unhear it. :/ haha
