I have many many friends who love reading and it's always interesting to hear what their reading and what genre they usually choose to read. I'm more of a non-fiction, self-help or educational book reader myself. Give me something I can learn from or be inspired by, and I am hooked! I struggle reading sci-fi and fantasy books because my imagination just isn't there.
That being said, I know that not everyone has the same tastes or like the same books as me and that's totally okay.
So I'd like to know what book you're currently reading, maybe a little about the book and if you'd recommend the book. Who knows, we might find our next great read right here!

I am currently reading "The Makeup Artist Handbook' by Gretchen Davis and Mindy Hall. As the title explains it's about makeup artistry and honestly, I think every woman should read it. You don't need to be a makeup artist to enjoy this book. It gives you tips and tricks and explains the basics of makeup, colour theory and everything that goes into makeup so you can then make better choices when selecting the type of makeup and colours for your skin type and skin tone (undertone). I myself am a makeup artist so I've been reading a lot of book on makeup artistry and I must say this one is very informative & helpful even for people who just want to learn more about makeup.
